Our experienced psychologists will help by assessing, diagnosing and treating psychological problems and disorders. Be it for you or a family member, our team will work efficiently to help you on your mental health journey. We will conduct our initial assessment and develop an appropriate plan to help you with your goals. Whether it is stress management, depression, anxiety, chronic illness, behavioural difficulties, body dysmorphia, schizophrenia and so on, we are here to help! We can also conduct cognitive assessments (e.g. IQ assessments, academic assessments) and functional assessments. We cover NDIS, Medicare and Work Cover
Our Behaviour Support Practitioners have over 30 years in the field, and are able to manage a variety of complex diagnoses across all ages. They are able to create detailed Behaviour Support Plans, with key methods in monitoring and tracking behaviours and improvements. Our Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners will then work with the participant, the families, schools and carers to implement the plan with a key focus on improving complex behaviours and improving the participants daily life. We cover the NDIS scheme.
A support co-ordinator will support you in accessing the NDIS, to ensure you are effectively accessing all the services you need, as well as what services are available especially as your goals and needs change. A support co-ordinator will help to track your funds to ensure they are all being used properly, and to make sure all therapists are being engaged whether it be with our therapists or from another provider. Our support co-ordinators also speak Arabic to help populations who do not have a strong grasp of English, to access the NDIS with the best support possible.
We have a professional and experienced speech therapy team that will support you in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders. We have expertise in supporting both children and adults, and work with a variety of diagnoses such as Autism, Global Developmental Delay, Dyslexia and Speech-sound disorders. We conduct functional assessments and assistive-technology (AT) assessments (such as approval for an iPad) and augmentative/alternative communication therapy (AAC). We cover NDIS and Medicare.
Our occupational therapists work with you to help you in your journey towards building and maintaining functional capacity. We help with the development, recovery and improvement of a condition or injury, as well as to develop the skills needed to complete daily living activities. Our team is experienced with both Medicare and NDIS participants. We conduct functional assessments, AT assessments, sensory assessments and home-living assessments (such as assessment for wheelchair access). We cover NDIS and Medicare.
Working in conjunction with Sydney Wide Podiatry, our podiatrists support in both Medicare and the NDIS, and address foot, ankle and lower limb health. We help in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of pains, balance issues, sprains, ingrowns, bunions, as well as problems which arrive from underlying medical conditions such as diabetes and arthritis. We conduct functional assessments, orthotic care and biomechanical assessments.
Our Allied Health Assistants (AHA) are experienced at implementing therapy plans as set out by our clinicians. Our AHA's are in direct supervision by our multidisciplinary therapy team. This is an effective option if you or your loved one is in need of therapies but don't have the funds to engage with the clinicians long-term; an allied health assistant will provide support from our clinicians at the reduced AHA rate.
